Why do we need PAT Testing - The main reasons to carry out testing on portable appliances are

· To comply with Electricity at work regulations

· Minimise risk of fire or injury due to faulty or worn appliances

· Insurance companies demand this work to be carried, If it is they generally they do not dispute electrical fire due to insufficient electrical maintenance 

What needs to be PAT Tested

Simply every electrical item with a plug

On completion of the tests, all items are clearly labelled to there pass or fail status and logged. A certificate is then produced for your records, along with the next test date required for that item.

Portable appliance testing (PAT), is required, due to during the everyday use of electrical appliances they can become worn or damaged, making them a potential hazard to the user. The Electricity at work regulations has made it a requirement for periodic PAT testing to be carried out to try and make appliances as safe as possible during use.

How much does it cost

A rule of thumb £ 1.65 per item up to 100 items then the price per item is reduced. Min charge £50.00
